Not sure who the Ultraman is, but his tag is rectangular like a normal Ultra Hero toy; I think you may be comparing apples to oranges in this picture.
EDIT: I took a picture.
Bemular is an average sized Ultra Kaiju; Ginga is average sized for an Ultra 500/Spark Doll. Notice also the tags: rectangular for the full size (yeah, I know it's not Bemular's tag, not sure where it got to), rounded for the 500. Also, check the feet -- the 500s will have a little scanner code for use with the Ginga Spark, the regular ones do not.
Unless I am missing the point (been known to happen) and you think Ragon is too small for the 500s. I have not seen him in person so I am not sure. 500 Alien Godola, also humanoid, scales nicely with my two 500 Ultras (Ultraman and Ultraman Ginga). So while they are smaller than the "normal" line, they look good displayed with their own kind. And honestly, after lining them all up this weekend, I think the smaller ones look nice in front of their larger brethren.
(I am also not too proud to admit that after taking the picture I did have them wrestle with each other.)
The point I'm trying to make is that the newer figures are smaller compared to the older figures (are they called the 500 series?). So I'm disappointed in this new direction.
I'm not getting the Ginga figures because they will be out of scale with my older figures.
