Kiryu-Goji has a lot in common with Mire-Goji, particularly the build of the body and the jagged coral dorsal spines, but blends traditional colors and Heisei proportions into the design as well. It's a lot different using Godzilla 2000 as a replacement for Kiryu-Goji compared to Godzilla 1994 filling in for the other later Heisei Godzillas.

The other visual diference of the GMK suit which cannot be overstated is the performance. Yoshida's portrayl of Goji is a lot different than what Kitagawa did in 2000 and especially GxM, and that really changes the perception of the suit.

The proportions will end up being a relative thing, depending on how he scales next to Kiryu. There's just as much difference and changes to the Heisei suits as there is to the Millenium ones; the thunder thighs on the '93 suit, for instance, always stand out to me. I still think that as a representation of the Millenium era Goji, this is a strong looking toy.

As far as the suit still being intact, I remember thinking that when I watched the two making of DVDs on the pachinko games. I am pretty sure I read that Toho has taken a lot of pains to keep some of their modern suits in good shape specifically for side projects like that.
