UltraSeven X: 3 and 4
3 was excellent, the villain and the "hopeless" had simple but realisitic motivations, there are also some hints for the big bad. (I hope)
4 focused on Alien Pejinera and Agent S debuted, it was fun too, wonder what the deal with the ice was...

So it still runs on rule of cool, it's defintely episodic but it shows hints of a larger plot, and the battles while criminally short, show some excellent production values.
The Eye Slugger is definitely overpowered but it works for me, I always thought that a mind controlled boomerang should be OP as heck.

3 also featured an Ultra battle at regular size, that was different, definitely not used to it.
