When it comes to SPD though, I highly suggest getting the SP Licence over the SPD Morpher. The actual prop used on the show is the JP toy and it has, way, way more functions then the American one.
Only the SP Licence (Rangers) and Master Licence (Master/Shadow) were released in both Japan and America. In America, they are simple colour swaps, but in Japan they have different inner badges to represent the characters position and the Master Licence has voice clips in phone mode from Dekaranger, while the SP Licence makes generic phone noises. A lot of the KO SP Licences advertise themselves as "for Cosplay" and do not mention any of their gimmicks (the common KOs don't have electronics), they also sell for as little as $20 while official ones set you back more $50-70 minimum.
Great info, thanks so much this helps a load. I saw a video on the two SPD morphers and the Japan version is bigger. Looks better as well. I wished the USA one could have been the same. Oh well, depends on the price.
As for the chrome out and gold plated Dino morpher attachments. where those ever in the actual shows? Or just made as a cool extra variants?
Was there ever a SPD kat morpher ever made?
On a side note I did go to image anime in new York city today. They had some cool rangers toys. There was a lot of go busters rangers stuff. Is that new or a old series?
The store was not very customer friendly and the owner was kind of rude. Then prices was marked up way high for all new and old items. Kind of a shame, I wonder how they stay in business?
But if anyone wants to check them out for rangers stuff. It's kind of fun to see what they have in stock. But I don't recommend buying anything for such huge mark up prices. Unless your loaded and don't care what people charges.
