Well for starters, this is Saban's flagship property, the ONE property that they expect to make them the most money and get them back to financial success. With Disney, this was the "brand they were in contract for" and were just waiting out the contract so they could end the show and do their own thing. It was always too violent and the whole idea of Power Rangers (teamwork, responsibility, etc.) was lost in the Disney seasons while Saban is trying desperately to bring that back.

Couple the fact you have the parent company WANTING the show to succeed with great marketing and a great television channel (BASIC CABLE ON WEEKEND MORNINGS), throw in some Internet-related stuff (YouTube, Facebook, Nick.com), and you have a recipe for success.

Kudos to Saban for making Power Rangers popular again. Maybe not MMPR days, but definitely back in the spotlight than when Disney had control.
