It tanked because the toy line had no gimmick, they went back to basics after having basically every show since Go-Onger be driven by a collectible trinket. Engine Souls, Discs, Headers, and Ranger Keys. That's why Kyoryuger is being so successful now, the Zyudenchi are driving sales numbers.

And with trains on their way, all of the kiddies will have houses filed with choo choos.
