I love how Ippo prepares for his exam by...talking to his reflection. Considering this is an anime where every other character talks themselves in their heads like normal people, it seems a weird choice to have Ippo constantly talking to himself and saying everything out loud.

I love the weird ethics of this series, Takumaru said before that boxing gyms "aren't places to make friends" then preceded to laugh it off but here he shows that that attitude isn't a joke, we, the audience, and Ippo, watch Thirteen flicker jab Fourteen into a pulp with a look of horror but Takumaru and the journalist don't even blink at the brutality, and instead marvel at Thirteen's technique instead. It's weird to have protagonists so desensitized to stuff like this.

Those Flicker Jabs though look ridiculous, did he eat the Gomu Gomu no Mi?
