The dude has two honestly small appearences, yet leaves a huge impression and is one of the more memorable bits of W. He's a great, rounded character. Yes on both points. Skull/Sokichi is one of the best characters in this series and deserved alot more airtime in the show then he recieved. But he died in the first episode so what can you do.
The trap was sadistic and that scene was the first time in the almost the entire show when I saw Akiko and didn't think "God... go away screaming girl.. Just go away.."
