these Dalek's really are hide behind your sofa stuff. The way the episode lays on thick the body count, and sheer terror. The way it takes away all pretense and plays the Dalek's as the inbred, genocidal, one man tank space nazis that they could never have been on family television. And the darker tone works because you paint the horror with your imagination.

Went ahead and bought the whole first season. Just finished the third episode, it was a cool concept but I thought it jumped around a little too much making certain moments slightly hard to follow on first listen.
