There is some method to this madness though. Look at the rest of the trends in the action figure aisle. Both Mattel and Hasbro have been making their main lines 5POA 4" figures for about the last year. As for the 5" scale, TMNT is in these scale and TMNT is still big at the moment. BoA is just matching what their competitors and peers are doing. Also, the 4" Megaforce figures sold like shit, so they're changing things up.

also doesn't help there is so much samurai stuff clogging the shelves, my stores never got the megaforce 4 inch figures, too much super samurai on the pegs
