Well, except for Clara, I hate Clara. She had a great introduction with last year's Xmas special which was then ruined by a subpar season. Plus, I am tired of the companion being in love with the Doctor subplot. Rose was the first to do this with for the new series, which is what made her the best companion of them all. It sort of worked with Donna, but afterwards, it just got repetitive.

Agreed, for all the humour in the 'assistants get younger every day' (or whatever it was), I honestly feel that should be closer pointed at the Doctors themselves. The contrast between Three, which is what I'm rewatching, and the modern Doctors is insane. The Doctor is now a poster boy, armed with assistants who are largely utterly useless and only exist to swoon over the Doctor to drain all drama out of their relationship. Unless you're Amy, who Moffat was so obsessed with it was just ludicrous how important she became.

It was less so the events themselves although the museum curator was baffling, much like choosing the Zygons of all things for the baddies but just how hand waved they all were. The Doctor broke about a thousand different rules of time travel in this episode, all of which were claimed to have serious ramifications if done. But well...apparently not then.
