Hate on Samurai all you like, I certainly do, but at least most of the good characterisation and storytelling from Shinkenger made it intact, as Saban just lifted the whole thing and whitewashed the characters. Minus a token black dude. Yes it was extremely watered down, but at least it felt like an actual adventure.

Megaforce on the other hand was truly watered down. Pretty much every episode was just all Goseiger footage, and then maybe we got an unmorphed scene as the credits were rolling. We had no plot, no characterisation, no drama. It was just pure garbage.

The show attempted to set up plot, in the first three or so episodes there were lots of things the show could have followed up on, but all of that was just abruptly dropped and we just got a solid seventeen episode of fights.

The only good thing to take away from Megaforce is Robo Knight, but he is not worth sitting through this series for. No way in hell.

I totally agree with this. Hate on Samurai all you like for being a bland copy of Shinkenger, but at least that leaves you with some of the good aspects of Shinkenger. Megaforce was just a whole lot of nothing. I prefer copying Sentai if the other option is what Megaforce was.
