Doing this based off of all of the toylines I collected this year... which I guess is really quite a few.

Worst:

McFarlane Assassin's Creed figures. I only have two. And the AC addict in me will have me getting more still. But I'm just not impressed. They're so disappointingly rigid.
S.H. Figuarts Wizard Flame Style. Yes, a few of you got lucky. Most of us didn't. And my figure barely stays together at the waste, ignoring even the belt issue. It's just too annoying to do anything with him.
Star Wars Black Series R2-D2. $20 for a hollow tube? Really? I'm quite glad I didn't pay that much. Paint wash on mine is plain bad (basically like grease was literally smeared onto the bottoms of the treads and nothing else). There's a gimmick in what was meant to be a collector's release that cripples him looking good (Want him to look to the right? Hope you like his middle tread sticking half out.). Just overall lackluster at that price. But for what I got him for he's not bad, just the weakest of the line.
Transformers Generations Blitzwing. Purely for the QC issues. I actually rather like his alternate modes, but that shoulder problem actually makes even transforming him a chore since things don't line up right.

Best:

D-Arts Metalgarurumon. For a bipedal figure, he is absolutely perfect. There isn't anything else I could want from this figure that it doesn't offer and on top of that he looks beautiful.
S.H. Figuarts Kamen Rider Blade. It was tough picking one Figuart, but once again beauty won out here. Stickering aside, this figure was great. I'd be remiss not to also say DragonRanger was a contender here.
Star Wars Black Series Darth Maul. Love him. He's highly posable, large, and looks great. I almost threw in Fett here, but I still can't pose him well enough to use his obnoxiously rubbery rifle (I swear it's not possible), but there's nothing I can't have Maul do.
Transformer Generations Springer. Oh boy. There's a lot of Transformers I got this year that I actually like. But none were as fun and well executed as Springer. I just transformed him almost nonstop and he looks perfect in all modes. Honorable mentions also need to go out to Generations Metroplex and Encore Fortress Maximus (thanks Optibotimus )

So those are my lists... with what I can think of that I got this year heh.
