Eons ago on the planet Eltar a wizard and his apprentice was working on new weapons on a 600 million year old war. This wizard was known by the name of Zordon. The wizard was like he was in him mid 30, he also had a young apprentice named Gosei he was learning the ways of Zordon.

On the other side of the galaxy lord zedd was building up his forces for a full on attack on the planet of Eltar he gave the attack to a young witch known as Rita Repulsa who was the draught of the great Master Vile who was a even greater villain then lord Zedd.

Back on Eltar, zord was working on a new system called the morphin grid, this Grid would allow a transformations in to five super heroes. To protect the universe, "Gosei get me some of ones eltarian coppers so we can link this metal up and use some of the magic of Eltar in to this.
