What you got was the Taiwan version. The outer shell and keys it comes with are of the first Mobirates, but the actual functions and sounds are that of the Legend Mobirates. The instructions also are of the normal too, not the Legends.

Did you get it off eBay? I made that same mistake for my first Mobirates too, I was very angry. They should specify that in the item details, but instead they claim they're the Japanese version.
