And yes, another thing I like about Gaim is how all the characters who are kids, feel like kids. they're emotional, a bit irrational, and have sometimes misplaced priorities. But it's not in any grating or frustrating way, but a natural, understandable one. These feel less like impossible role models for young kids to aspire to, and more like characters teens can relate to and look up to.

The only thing that let that down was the way Kouta just stood there at the most crucial moment. That pissed me off so bad I think I probably gave this episode a harsher score than it really deserved.
