The same way every other Sentai does. They just know.

I always like to think the knowledge is downloaded into their head by the powers. Or something. Actually, the lack of explanation is one of my favorite toku tropes.

The cast/characters, more than anything, are what make a sentai. And I totally agree, this is a charming group. Spending 49 episodes with these guys sounds like fun.
