Just managed to finish the first two episodes for now and I'm reminded of all the things I liked about Magiranger. The best thing about Magiranger is the whole look of the show: the costumes, the wardrobe, the monsters, the mecha, everything is excellent.

The music is also some of the best Super Sentai has had, and I love it.

Some may say that the individual character development is not as strong as other Sentai seasons and to an extent I agree. But that's because I believe Magiranger focuses on developing the family as a whole rather than each individual sibling. This will become more apparent in later episodes as their familial ties are emphasized more than their individualities and nobody really stands out. It's quite interesting, actually.
