I'm enjoying the show, but I don't really think we've had the opportunity to get to know MagiBlue enough to feel any real emotion after the Cockatrice gets her. They're doing a good job of establishing the family dynamic, but I'm not feeling any real connection to the characters.

MagiPink is just a bit obnoxious. (And by a bit, I mean lots.) MagiKing is pretty darned awesome, though, and that Phantom Illusion spell was pretty snazzy. Those broomstick/bike things are heavily featured in the opening credits but they don't seem to use them much in the show yet.

We ended this run on a bit of a cliffhanger! I can't wait until next week!
