Needless to say, I have never felt more vindicated from a half second of minor movement. I knew it wasn't a new armour, it was just the rippley floor, and this proved it. No forshadowing, no meaning. Just a trick of the light exposed for what it is so they could show lock seeds instead of locks.

But that raises two points.

1). Gaim doesn't move his head at all.

2). Why bother to reshoot the scene in the first place?
