I won't argue about their simplistic nature, but I think the characters are very distinct. Blue is a bookish, clumsy know-it-all who overthinks things. Green is aloof, hot-headed, and impulsive. Pink is childish and unsure of herself. Yellow is mature and cool-headed.

In fact, it jumped out at me how well the suit actors conveyed the characters. Reminded me a lot of Gokaiger.

So what? I can't express how mega uncool statements like these are. We all know what you really mean when you say this.

And anyway, seeing him in action, Shinson Jun does not come off as feminine in any way. He may look very pretty in his stage-make-up, but he reads as masculine to me. I was kinda disappointed -- was hoping for a more feminine/atypical red like Alata.
