I actually though this episode was pretty good. Unfortunately, it kind of feels like the morphed fights have nothing going for them. It's kind of like they build up a story (or try to) during the unmorphed scenes, then the script calls for 12 minutes of fighting (so put in Gokaiger footage), and then go back to a story in the unmorphed scenes. Kind of separates it and makes it feel like two separate shows.

For Power Rangers, and for what my expectation is (not that great), it fit the expectation. If you're a Power Rangers fan you'll enjoy the episode. If you're not a Power Rangers fan and you're overly negative about cringe-worthy moments, just skip the entire franchise for a few years until it finds its footing again.
