Sooooooo TheBee arrived yesterday.

Packaging's similar to the recent Tamashii exclusives - no window, but still similar to the previous retail Kabuto Rider releases' packaging.






He...really doesn't come with much.



Bodywise, no QC issues. Die-cast panels on the sides of his legs stay in pretty tightly, unlike the Dark Kabuto I have. Eyes are a very dark clear yellow, which gives a "dead eye" appearance; I think I would've preferred a lighter yellow be used.



Three options for his Bee Zecter (lighting isn't great here, the clear yellow on the effect part and the wings on the bee are actually a more darker yellow than they appear here).



Wings on the bee can also swivel up and down.



With the effect part, the energy bits are wide enough that depending on how you have his arm posed, it can get in the way of a more dramatic pose.



It's a nice figure, but it's definitely something that is lacking in the accessory department. The Hopper Bros. were too, but they were a two-pack retail release; this is a solo web exclusive, so it's a bit disappointing. I wish they'd thrown in the parts for Masked Form to give him more bang for your buck. If you love the Kabuto Riders (I love the designs from that series) I suppose it's worth it, I just hope you don't have to spend too much to acquire him.
