I don't think he is willing to see the plans go through either,which is why I think he is in such a hurry to find this Overlord and beat it.Yeah he wants power,but it might not be for just survival.Maybe he wants power to get revenge and he just hasn't said it yet.I mean how many secrets have been in this series so far?
