I understand that every fandom has its darkside but I've argued with a lot of bad MLP fans over at YouTube with my galvatronic2 account. It's not that I think it's a bad show, it's just that all the Pony items that pop up frequency as well as some of the things I've read the fans write, IE "All other cartoons are terrible", "If you don't like it you're sexist" that sort of things grinds my gears. I like a lot of things that are consided girly like the PreCure series, Sailor Moon and Winkx, but I cannot find common ground with this series no matter how hard I try. I bear no ill will towards the fans who respect the feelings of others, it's just that I feel smothered by the ruder fans.

Look I understand that Lauren wants to get rid of the sexist stereotypes reguarding televison and I respect that she's trying her best, but my encounters with the darker side of the MLP fanbase have left a sour taste in my mouth.

I've always thought of myself as a tolerate person and pushy fans have never pushed my buttons quite like this before. I guess I'll never be a fan of this series and I'm OK with that. I just don't want to viewed as a outsider because I have had bad experiences with bad fans.

Also no offense but I watched a few episodes and I was kinda bored plus I couldn't really find a character to identify with. It's just not my cup of tea.
