It was all going fine for the most part (if a little bizarre), but then the epilogue showed that nothing has really changed. Hazama's just the Flamenco he was at the beginning but with a teenage Joker adversary, and Goto hasn't moved on at all.

So Goto was just emaillng his dead girlfriend again? I had been trying to convince myself it was Mari, since they cut to her right after, but... *sigh* That does ruin it... His insanity was kind of the only big thing in that last stretch and that didn't even change.
