After a brief hiatus I'm back with yet another gallery of an Arms Change figure! Today is AC10 Kamen Rider Gaim Jinba Arms!

Gaim Jinba Arms is probably the most unique release in the line so far. If you don't know by now, in show Jinba Arms actually contains the power of all 4 Energy Riders. Contained in this lantern shaped armor are the powers of the Peach, Melon, Lemon, & Cherry Energy Lock Seeds. And awesomely the toy replicates this gimmick!

But let's start with the base body. As you can see it's physically identical to the standard Gaim included with Orange Arms. The only differences being the remolded driver and repainted faceplate/crest. This new version of the figure has the Genesis Core & Lemon Energy Lock Seed molded in place to the side. The faceplate is painted black similarly to the Bujin/Blood Gaim and the head crest is now silver rather than gold. The holster for the Musou Saber is also gone, but this figure doesn't come with one anyway. Mainly because the Jinba Arms primary weapon is that of the Energy Riders, the Sonic Arrow. However unlike Shin Zangetsu there's nowhere to store this weapon on Jinba. But this form is sort of a hack of the E. Rider powers in show so is it any wonder that it couldn't properly store such a weapon?

The Arms. AC Jinba Arms has all 4 Jinba Forms contained within it. In show we see the arms rotate through the air as it falls onto Gaim's head. The toy replicates this by having the clasps which lock over an AC figures shoulders remain stationary. The 4 sides of the Arms rotate around this stationary piece on a connected ring, allowing you to access any of them at any point. Each "side" transforms exactly the same as the last. Any one of them can become a shoulder, chest, or back plate. The Jinba energies are represented under two flip down panels with foil labels under them on any of the 4 sides. These are damn nice labels, though mine had some air bubbles under them.

The new visor/helmet piece is a basic remold of the Orange Arms one. Though the orange color plays off the black of this new form oh so nicely. It should be noted you do have to parts form this slightly to get the armor to work. The shoulder pads which come off the neck area are a separate piece that you need to remove and plug back on each time you rotate the arms. This piece locks the currently used face of the arms in place and fills out the neck area. It also locks together the top of the Jinba Arms making it more secure. It wouldn't have been possible to make it sort of magically attach the way it does in the CGI model so this is a good compromise.

Of course I never really have anything bad to say about Arms Change, and this time is no different. AC 10 Gaim Jinba Arms is an excellent figure, and dare I say it I like it better than the original Gaim. A lot of people have been turned off by this form being "lame". Which I don't really get considering how ingenious it is to include the powers of 4 riders/forms in one. The toy being able to pull this off is just brilliant. Easily my favorite AC so far.
