You're actually not going to see Kuuga much after this. The show tends to treat him more like the laundry guy from Faiz or the milk-drinker from Blade: the helpful male sidekick. I'm pretty sure the writers actually forgot he could transform for most of the show's middle stretch. He does transform occasionally, but it's always pretty rare to see Yusuke actually get out and fight alongside Tsukasa.
