They didn't even elaborate on the cost of it. Did it just flat out mean Super Sentai would cease to exist? Does that cross over through time and mean that they never existed? It just, it just didn't make sense really. That's a big minus to the Gokaiger finale for me.

Also, Goushi made a way more fucking convincing argument then the Gokaiger did. I literally screamed at Gai when he shot it. I mean, good going guys, sure the heroes existed but that thing could've brought back the billions of lives the Zangyack had killed. Come on. That's not heroic, its too dumb to live.

I don't think that's what would have happened. By using the treasure, they would have wiped out Super Sentai, which leads to a common time travel paradox.
Additionally, they'd only eliminate the Zangyack, while there would be decades of other Sentai villains who would not be stopped.
