Maybe it's just me but I've never understood the common complaint about the first episode of Blade being boring . You've got a great opening fight, Kamen Riders working for a Mysterious organization fighting monsters that right in the first episode gets destroyed by said monsters and possibly a traitor Kamen Rider, personally I couldn't ask for more

I might need to watch it again but I never felt like the show had lost it's direction, even with the change in directors. Each arc felt like it slid easily into the next, then again with the strong performances of the actors maybe I was distracted. I love that it had a really strong ensemble cast and it's character focus is probably why It's my favorite Kamen Rider. Hajime and Kenzaki are my favorite Kamen Riders of all time after all.

And I'd be lying if I said it wasn't tempting to get all the Blade Ace Figures just to pose them with their bikes
