Of course they look worse compared to the figuarts. The figuarts team has a higher budget, more time, less restrictive safety standards (due to being meant for adult collectors rather than children) and don't have to incorporate arms changing as a functional gimmick. It's a lot easier to make figures look good when you don't have to find a way to make the toy work like a show where the armour pieces magically shrink once they attach and solid mango/lemon segments turn into a soft cape.
