Wow the first episode of Nobunaga really chucks you in the deep end, if you don't pay attention at all times, it's nauseating the way this jumps from genre, to time period to tone sometimes multiple times in the same sequence. It's got warped history, high fantasy AND high sci-fi and lots of Sengoku Basara.

It all kinda makes sense, in its own gloriously silly context, but nonetheless the editor of this seriously needs firing because it's how choppy and slapped together sequences feel that make this seem so incoherent, not the balls to the wall storytelling.
