So, just saw the Neo Jetman arc of the show.

I liked it because it was charming and seeing a terrible person get their comeuppance is always nice, but I also disliked it because it played out exactly how I anticipated. It didn't throw me for a loop or catch me off guard once. Heartless commander who only cares about the mission? Check. Replacement team that are a group of complete assholes until the last second where they become decent people? Check. Replacement team's only experience being simulations and they fail when placed under a real scenario? Check.
It seemed everything in these episodes were completely cookie cutter. They were still nice episodes, however, and Gai's abrasiveness seems to actually be integrated into his character, and not just present when it needs to be, which is good, too.

It would've been neat for the Neo Jetman to be hinted at before their debut, but meh, I'm fine with how it was. Meteor BEM was kind of confusing, however. One fight he's no selling everything the Jetmen threw at him and was only hurt by the Neo Jetmen, but the next he's no selling everything the Neo Jetmen hit him with...

Tranza built a 2nd robot. It sucked less, but Radiguet interfering gave the rangers the chance they needed to defeat it.
