musicfighter brings up a good point with Ransik. Being a departure from Timeranger AND being a good invention made Time Force stand out from Timeranger. It gave Time Force a unique identity.

I'm just curious, why should Goseiger be brought over as it is? We already have a decent show called Tensou Sentai Goseiger. To slavishly copy it with American actors under a different name, "Power Rangers Megaforce", with only a tiny source credit seems a bit, for a lack of a better word, insulting to the original material. It's making use of an original story and duplicating it in what is likely to be an inferior copy. Now, if the show were dubbed and called Goseiger, I would agree that faithful translation is the way to go. However this is an entirely different show, to be a direct translation would be to (legally) plagiarize a script under a different name with little to no acknowledgement of the original.

Not sure if I explained my sentiments well enough, but I've always felt uneasy about direct translations.
