I think the Movie would have worked better in that regard if they made Ford and Serizawa dual protagonists. Watanabe was my favorite performance in this movie next to Cranston.

I found myself caring enough for Ford that I didnt mind him but Serizawa was the one character in the movie I wanted to see more of.
