Gundam: The origin volume II

I'm not a big fan of the Garma arc in MSG. But I do like a lot of the character nuances in the story. Like Char's hatred of the Zabi family, Sayla's distance from everyone else, especially the rise of Zeon's full power at the end of the volume. Garma's death was beautifully done with the beautiful watercolor style.

Another thing I love about this manga is how it plays with shades of black. I mainly read Shonen Jump manga and usually those drawings have the black be used to define lines and features. Its great to see how you can tell its night just by the way the surroundings of the white base and the people are shaded, despite the fact most of it is in black and white.
