Not to mention Medicom is celebrating it's 18th anniversary and has made a whole ton of Kamen Rider figures over the years so obviously the markets big enough that they keep making a profit out of it.

Sure they are expensive(retail at least) but they are way more bang for your buck IMHO than any other toy line so I'll happily give up collecting the Kamen Rider gimmicks or sentai mechs so I'll have the money to spend on figures that actually really make me happy.

As for them being 'fragile', they really aren't any more fragile than Figuarts. Unlike Figuarts where a broken figure means you'll just have to buy another one Medicom has a great overseas email adress that if you send them a picture of your broken figure they will do their best to help. For example if an arm broke they would send you a new one where you only have to pay for shipping.
