His death was great but he was initially presented with so much mystery, and then the show shifted to suggest he might become the next major villain and then he died. Sid was just another obstacle for Kouta, he also was the reason Micchy is an Armored rider. He served his purpose as an overall mid-boss. and also a grunt, his death reflects that, like Hase he was frustrated with his weakness and lack of achievement and wanted to "prove" himself, to the point where he rather die, than go back to his lowly life and accept defeat, it shows just how much of a grunt Sid was. Someone who never grew up into a "proper" adult. Still liked him though, his interactions with Micchy were fun !
