I wouldn't worry too much about a hardsub release. While most people would appreciate it, most people have access to devices that can run the mkv and softsubs fine. If people want to watch on a big-screen TV, there might be a problem there, but I would just invest in a OUYA Android Console (about $100), buy the PLEX app ($5) from the Play Store. This allows you to stream media files to an Android device from your PC.
