I'm fine with Rosalina, I think she's a really unique and fun addition especially considering they're seemingly basing her on pre-Miyamoto character assassination, but I do truly think Palutena is a waste of a Newcomer.

Kid Icarus is lucky to have one representative, let alone two! Especially when far more deserving franchises (namely Metroid) are stuck at one (or two if you want to be generous, but they're still the same character). Sakurai is really showing a real bias towards his own games, which I wish wasn't there. Thus far, Luigi, Charizard and Zero Suit Samus is the only non-Sakurai character to get a new Final Smash (and the latter two are due to necessity), Toon Link and Link are STILL both stuck with that stupid Triforce Slash, while Pit and Kirby both have brand new Smashes (plus Pit's looks utterly OP, being something of a combination of both Mario's and Ness'). Kid Icarus already has two levels announced and five of the new items are from Kid Icarus: Uprising. Note that Metroid still only has one item in the game.

In regards to the Final Smashes, if they were going to update them then, of the confirmed Veterans, Mario, Luigi, Peach, Link, Toon Link, DK, Zero Suit Samus, Charizard, Lucario and (personally) Bowser deserved them. Kirby and Pit both had really awesome Final Smashes that still matched how they currently are portrayed. It just seems totally unneccessary for them to get new ones while Link and Toon Link still have the same ill-fitting Final Smash, Mario still has the same useless Fireball instead of all the awesome potential he has and DK still has that joke of a Final Smash.

Its just kind of annoying. Pit was awesome in Smash Bros. Brawl because he was so forgettable and it was cool that he was back, but Sakurai just had to take it and way over expose him. Doesn't help that Kid Icarus: Uprising was "meh" at best and had some of the worst controls I have ever played on a handheld.

So yeah, if Ridley (or Bayonetta) finally comes in I might be happier with Palutena, but as it stands I really think that we deserve Newcomers from either series that don't have representatives or series that deserve more then one representative.

Plus, if Pit's Dark Pit alt is going to have a new voice actor which seems to be the implication since the demo lacked Pit's Dark Pit alt then Peach should have one for Daisy, I personally think.

... But yeah, no more clones. I'm really disappointed how Toon Link has been handled again. I was expecting a different Final Smash at the very least. Kind of sucks that they didn't take advantage of all the cool things Link has done in his "Toon" games to give us a really unique character separate from the normal Link.
