The delusion thing is what I enjoy the most about Micchy as a villain; he really, really tries to be this amazing evil mastermind, but fails so spectacularly at it. There's that idea of a person being like a chessmaster - able to manipulate all of his friends and foes without having them realize that they're being played. Micchy wants to be like that, but he doesn't seem to realize that he's not the only one playing the game. He can plot and scheme all he wants, but he's constantly being confronted with better players (the Overlords) or people who just want to say "fuck this" and kick the board over (Kaito and Yoko). The only people he's ever managed to really play are the ones who trusted him before he started playing Sith Lord and Sid, who was a moron.

It was refreshing this week to see him realize that the game was never going to get away and start throwing a temper tantrum. Said tantrum is likely going to get him his ass handed to him (again, of course), but it was fun to see him keep trying to manipulate all of the pieces only to have them move right back out of his control immediately.

Micchy: he's a bit shit at everything.
