Ben 10 does get a little better past the time skip, but not by much. I think they realized that tying everything (Literally, everything) into being aliens wasn't well received and reintegrated the manmade technology and magic powers again.

But at that point, Ben would never lose and the only reason to watch fights were to hear Kevin's quips.

Tiger and Bunny is a superhero anime that has the heroes being sponsored by real world companies. It ended last year. It was pretty good, but kinda falls out the "Western animation" bracket
