I've come to slowly hate every scene with Mai/Kaito and/or team Gaim's stupid hangout in it. I feel like, for whatever reason, any scene including those elements just fails entirely. Mai because she's totally irrelevant, Kaito because his acting is so bad, and that hangout because every single scene with it is just pointless air filler of everyone just sitting around discussing things we already know.

Gaim has a shocking amount of just dead air in it these days. I'm actively skipping any scene with the aformentioned and I have missed out on nothing. Also, Takatora as a halucination is very cliche, though not as cliche as "random damn flashback to their childhood when none had ever happened before just to hamfistedly remind us that they're brothers." Micchy is falling apart brilliantly, and the actor just a good enough job. But it's sprinkles on a carboard cupcake.
