As much as I love the show I'm guessing Nick views it as a "boys show" with a girl as the main character and not marketable to kids (meaning they can't sell toys). Not sure why there has been such a big drop off for the show.

But, it was marketed to us, the fans of the original, wasn't it? Heck, they straight up had an ad featuring tweets from the older fans.
