I think that this is too little, too late. Skylanders were a fad and I'm surprised they were even able to milk three games out of the series. All of the 'new' figures in my area shelfwarmed foe the longest time and are now being drastically clearanced off. I think that the majority of kids, but mostly parents, are done with the 'collectible figure' video games.

Done right, this could've been really cool. I personally would have went the 'Giants' route and had small Ranger figs at the $8.99 pricepoint and larger Megazord figs for around $15. Put enough time and effort into the sculpts and I'm sure a lot of people would have bought them just to collect and not even play.
