I just picked this up tonight when I was at B&N. I have never watched the original series at all before and I have never read the manga to DB period, but I am in a mood to do so, so I might as well start at the beginning.



Oh, and I finally watched all of Kai and it seems Toei got really lazy with the show after the Freeza saga. From its poor pacing to horribly inserted music (it seems like they only had 6 of the old tracks that played on random), the Cell arc was very disappointing to watch in Kai form. It just seems like they took out all of the character development. In fact, I think I like regular Z better. At least Funi's Kai dub is vastly superior to their Z one and the scripts are closer to the original translations. Not to mention Chris Ayres is freaking amazing as Freeza. He sounds just like the Japanese VA.
