By the 35th - 40th episode mark the toyline is starting to end or only has movie stuff left to release. kids have nothing to really look forward to toywise so the stuff already out is forced to be discounted so the next show has plenty of room on the shelves :P

also Sentai hurts rider and Rider hurts sentai.

Rider sales will dip in Feburary because new Sentai starts and sales start to drift off.
Sentai sales will dip in October (used to be September) because the new Rider starts and sales start to drift off.

depending on the shows quality of course!
