Spoiling myself I do feel sorry for Rika, and I know if I met her/met someone like her now I would want to help...I mean the refusing eye drops because she thinks it is 'holy water' and such is really worrying as it shows her delusions are negatively effecting how she interacts with the world.

For the past few years I've volunteered over the summer with kids with learning disabilities, and am going to college to become a teacher, so I can't help looking at Rika as an 'instructor' and think that she might need some professional help.

Yeah, the eye thing in particular always bothered me, colorful phrases and the like are one thing, but keeping one eye shut all the time is a terrible idea.
