This is a good point, the Shift Cars do seem like they'll make great stand-alone toys. Sometimes as an adult collector I look at all of this stuff just as collectibles for display and forget that the whole point is for them to be toys for kids.

But yeah, thinking of it that way they do seem pretty fun. I had forgotten about the compatibility with Trideron as well, that definitely adds some good play value.
