Death Note episode 3

Damn this show makes you think. So much intellectual battle and I love it. Plus, the situation always changes every episode.

Holy shit that cop guy was Light's dad. I swear to god this show has so many coincidences just to set this up.

But isn't it a bit hypocritical for L to try to kill Kira since Kira is killing murders? Yeah, I know the police think that killing him is the only way to stop this from happening but it still doesn't justify it. IF anything, Kira's death is only gonna cause more violence and murder.

I was not much of a fan of the Shinigami hanging around Light until this episode when he gave the supernatural deal to Light. I don't want him to take it but I think that he's gonna take it because he thinks he's gonna get killed in less then that lifespan anyways. I think that he shouldn't because this power is only gonna limit his possible chance of escape, with him getting drawn into killing more and more, plus him being able to write down names of people he doesn't know in front of him only cements him as a murderer only leaving behind more evidence.
